Everyone answers at once

The question goes up on the big screen and the whole room answers on their phones at the same time. Nobody sits out, so these carry any group size, from a team of five to a full conference hall.

Multiple Choice

Any number of players

The classic, with a clock on it. Everyone picks an answer, and the quick ones score more.

Ask a question with two to eight answers, add a photo or a video if you like, and watch the answers roll in. Want more drama? Switch on wager mode: players first bet part of their score, then answer. Right wins the bet, wrong loses it.

Great for
Every show. The backbone of a round

Open Question

Any number of players

No options to guess from. Players have to actually know it.

How it plays

Players type their answer freely. You set the answer and any alternatives you accept (Everest, Mount Everest, Sagarmatha), or let the AI judge whether an answer means the same thing.

On the phones

Points for
A right answer, typed in. Fast ones can earn more, wrong ones can cost
Great for
Separating the experts from the guessers

Reveal

Any number of players

A picture appears bit by bit. Who recognises it first?

How it plays

Hide a landmark, a face or a logo behind a reveal effect: rotating, fading in, a growing circle or square, or a pixelated blur that sharpens. Players type their answer whenever they think they've got it.

Clues

Any number of players

Who or what is it? The clues get easier, the points get smaller.

How it plays

Clues appear one by one, as text, pictures or both, styled as plain cards or as social media posts. Each player gets a single shot: lock in early for big points, or wait for one more clue and risk being beaten to it.

On the phones
Type one answer and lock it in
Points for
Naming it with as few clues as possible
Great for
Slow-burning tension and late gasps

List

Any number of players

We asked 100 people… Guess what's on the hidden list.

How it plays

A Family Feud style board in three modes. Top Answer: one answer each, the higher it ranks the more it's worth. Race: name as many as you can before time runs out. Elimination: take turns, and a miss knocks you out. Typos and synonyms count.

Points for
Answers that are on the list. The higher they rank, the more they're worth
Great for
Big groups and loud reveals

Colors

Any number of players

The answer is one or more colours. What's on the flag of Italy?

Players pick from eleven colours on their phone. Only the exact set counts, so one missing stripe costs the round.

On the big screen
The question, then the right colours
On the phones
Tap one or more of 11 colours
Points for
Exactly the right colours, no more and no fewer
Great for
Flags, logos and kids' rounds

Guess, bid and bet

The answer is a number, a place, an order or a colour, so nobody is ever completely wrong. Or the points themselves are on the line: bet them, bid them, risk it all. Everyone plays at once, so any group size works.

Estimate

Any number of players

How tall, how far, how many? The closest guess wins.

The answer is a number, and nobody is ever completely wrong. Everyone scores by how close they get, the closest guess earns a bonus, and a dead-on answer earns another.

Sorting

Any number of players

Put it in order: by size, by date, by population.

How it plays

Players drag the items into order on their phone. Every item in the right place earns its share of the points, so a nearly-right order still pays.

On the big screen

Great for
History, geography and long arguments

Map

Any number of players

Where on earth is it? Drop a pin.

How it plays

Everyone drops a pin on a map, and the pins appear on the big screen as they land. Points shrink with every kilometre off, and the closest pin earns a bonus.

On the phones
Drop a pin on the map
Points for
A pin close to the spot, plus a bonus for the closest
Great for
Travel themes and know-it-alls

Hue

Any number of players

Remember a colour for ten seconds, then mix it from memory.

How it plays

One colour fills the screen, then disappears. Everyone rebuilds it with hue, saturation and lightness sliders. The closer the match, the more points. It's harder than it sounds, and that's the fun.

On the big screen
One colour, then everyone's attempts
On the phones
Three sliders
Points for
How closely your mix matches the colour
Great for
A breather between knowledge rounds

Split

Any number of players

Spread your points over the answers. Only what's on the right one survives.

How it plays

The Money Drop idea as a round. Sure? Go all in. Torn between two? Hedge. The bets show up on the big screen as they're placed, then the wrong answers drop and take their points with them.

On the big screen

On the phones

Points for
Whatever you bet on the right answer. Bets on wrong answers are lost
Great for
A high-stakes finale

Outbiddery

2 players or more

An auction for the right number. Bid high, but not too high.

Everyone places one sealed bid. Then the highest bid goes up on the screen and the floor opens: anyone can raise it, every raise resets the clock, until the gavel falls. The highest bid at or under the answer wins. Overbid and you pay for it.

On the big screen

On the phones
Seal a bid, then raise
Points for
The highest bid at or under the answer. Overbidding costs
Great for
Nerve, bluffing and a room full of shouting

Fastest finger first

The real gameshow moment: phones become buzzers, and only the quickest player gets to answer. Wrong buzzes cost points, so nerves matter as much as knowledge. Best with up to eight players.

Buzzer Question

Best with up to 8

Buzz first, answer first. Get it wrong and the others get their chance.

The question and four answers appear, and everyone races for the buzzer. The first one in gets a few seconds to answer. A wrong answer locks them out and the buzzers reopen for everyone else.

On the big screen
The question, and who buzzed
On the phones
A big buzzer, then the answers
Points for
Buzzing first and answering right. A wrong answer costs
Great for
Small groups and fierce rivals

Fill in the Blank

Best with up to 8

Words flicker through the gap. Buzz when the right one shows up.

How it plays

A sentence with a gap, a saying or a lyric, and words cycling through it every few seconds. Buzz on the right word to score. Buzz on a decoy and you lose points.

Pairs

Best with up to 8

Germany… Bonn? Munich? Berlin! Buzz when the match comes up.

How it plays

Pick a theme like capitals, and one half of a pair stays on screen while candidates fly past. Buzz on the match. Pairs nobody solves come back later in the round.

One of Three

Best with up to 8

Three answers, many questions. Buzz when the light lands on the right one.

Set three fixed answers – say Beatles, Stones, Queen – and fire questions at them. A highlight runs around the three, and you buzz when it hits the right one. Hesitate and every lap is worth less.

On the big screen

On the phones

Points for
Buzzing when the light hits the right answer. Hesitate and it's worth less
Great for
Themed rounds with a twist

Party rounds

Here the players write the content. Lies, jokes and votes: the rounds people quote at breakfast the next morning.

Fabularasa

Best with 2–8

Invent a believable lie, then spot the truth among everyone else's.

Ask an obscure question – what was Queen's original band name? Everyone writes a fake answer that sounds true (too close to the real one gets rejected). Then the lies are mixed with the truth and everyone picks.

On the big screen
The lies and the truth, shuffled
On the phones
Write a lie, then pick the truth
Points for
Spotting the truth, and every player your lie fools
Great for
Friends who think they can't be fooled

No Offense

Best with 2–8

Funniest answer wins. Two players, one prompt, the room votes.

How it plays

Each prompt goes to two players – "You know a restaurant is bad when the waiter says…" – and they write the punchline. Then the answers face off on the big screen and everyone votes. Win every vote for a FLAWLESS.

On the big screen
Two answers head to head
On the phones
Write answers, then vote
Points for
Votes for your punchline. Win them all for a FLAWLESS
Great for
After dinner, when the room is warm

Emoji Charades

Best with 3–12

Explain a secret term with emoji only. No letters allowed.

How it plays

One random player gets a secret term and up to six emoji to describe it. The clue pops up on the big screen one emoji at a time, everyone else picks the answer from six options, and wrong options drop out until the right one lights up. Play it everyone-at-once, or in bluff mode, where players also write fake answers to fool each other.

On the big screen
The emoji clue, then six answers
On the phones
An emoji keyboard, or six answers to pick from
Points for
Guessing the term, and for the clue giver, everyone who gets it
Great for
Mixed groups, including the kids

You're the judge

For everything that happens off the screen: a charades round, a dance-off, a question you ask out loud. The players buzz or play, you hand out the points.

Buzzer Only

Best with up to 8

Just the buzzers. You ask, they buzz, you decide.

No question on screen, only who buzzed first. Read questions from a card, play a song on the piano, hold up an object. Award +1000, +2000, a penalty or any amount you like.

Events with more than a quiz

Between the rounds

Mini games that turn the phones into controllers, and everything else a show needs to breathe.

Blast Bay

An artillery battle on crumbling islands. Everyone aims on their phone, then all fire at once. Mind the wind.

Paint Wars

Steer a paint roller with four arrows and cover more of the floor than anyone else, power-ups included.

Neon Blasters

A space shooter on the big screen. The phone is a joystick, the ship fires on its own. Top score takes the points.
